Fake My Run

2025

Fake My Run is website that lets you create fake running activities. Strava mules have gone viral recently for charging 10-20$ to run for other people and improve their stats, which made me think there has to be an easier way. There is. And after a bit of clever engineering, I built Fake My Run: Go to any location in the world > Draw a couple of dots on the map > Align your run to the roads/trails > Set your pace, date and description > Download your activity as a file (.GPX). It's that easy. I didn't make Fake My Run without purpose. I've been running for 10+ years, and in the last couple of years I've noticed the culture around running has shifted towards becoming a social status and way of signalling a lifestyle. Like social media though, running posts can be faked. Which is in part why I made Fake My Run. As a way to challenge the culture shift around running. AS SEEN ON: New York Times, Fast Company, Daily Mail, Daily Dot, Politiken

MIT Reality Hack

2024

For the MIT Reality Hack, our team built an augmented reality Air Traffic Control (ATC) interface 鉁堬笍 We used Meta's Quest 3 passthrough and hand tracking capabilities to add a layer of digital information, which can be used on top of existing infrastructure. This app could use real-time data to visualise airplanes, weather patterns and handle communications in a 3D spatial environment. 馃弳 We won best Augmented Productivity app, Moonshot Startup pitch, and were runner-ups in the Meta Presence Platform award!

Lens Fest 2023 Hackathon - Finalist

2023

For the Lens Fest Hackathon, our team created Wise Pals, which enabled Snapchat users to discuss and ask questions to cultural heroes like Albert Einstein or Frida Kahlo. Using the OpenAI integration in Lens Studio, we were able to create live queries and automate discussions based on the character context (such as their work and their time period). 馃弳 We won 3rd place and were the audience favourite!

Lens Fest 2024 Spectacles Hackathon

2024

For the 2024 Lens Fest Hackathon, our team created Capsule, which enables Spectacles users to capture memories using a simple hand gesture. These memories are then stored in an orb that users can return to later. These orbs are geolocated with GPS and will stay placed in the location where they were captured. 馃弳 We were in the finalists selection and were runner-ups!
